About Y Plas Emi Care Home

Y Plas Care Home is a 37 bedded nursing home offering both long term and respite care for individuals age 55 and over living with Dementia, without Dementia or with other mental infirmity needs. The property is located in Tre-boeth, Swansea with easy access to the City Centre; overlooking the Liberty Stadium. It is within an easy bus route of several locations in Swansea and built on a large ground with ample parking for visitors.

We have highly trained staff who are trained in Dementia Care. The management of Y Plas focuses on sourcing and providing each staff with as much external training as possible to equip staff with knowledge, skill and experience in being able to support individuals appropriately. We work collaboratively with external health care specialists, to make sure that all the service user's physical and mental health needs are met. i.e. Community Psychiatric Nurse, Psychogeriatricians, Dieticians, Speech and Language Therapist.​​​
